NAME Sally-Ann Perks.
AGE & BIRTHDAY Seventeen & November 18.
HOUSE Hufflepuff.
FAMILY Austin Perks (father; wizard) and Cornelia Perks (mother; muggleborn)
AFFILIATION Sally is completely against Voldemort, though she herself is not aligned with the DA or any particular orginazation against him.
HISTORY Sally Ann Perks is the product of a rather interesting love story. Her parents met back when they were students in Hogwarts. Her mother Cornelia Muncey was a year behind her father Austin Perks and completely head over heels for him from the moment they met. It was during her second year and she was standing in the pouring rain, down in the dumps, and soaking wet. He came up behind her with an umbrella and walked her inside using his umbrella to keep her from becoming even wetter than she already was. He didn’t know it then, but he had a big impact on the twelve year old, who grew up dreaming of a fairy tale prince, and he would become her prince. While it was rather obvious that she began liking him after that he was a little embarrassed by her forward actions in the years following their first encounter. Cornelia was flirtatious and obvious with her feelings for him. She was overly sweet to him and tried in vain to grab his attention all the time. Austin finally had to tell her that he didn’t feel the same way. He’d been dreading it because he knew how boisterous her personality was and if she threw a temper tantrum over it he didn’t know what he would do. Cornelia surprised him by taking the news in a silent manner and received the silent treatment from her after that.

When Cornelia started dating a guy in his year in a separate house, Austin was thrilled for her and partly jealous. He couldn’t really be jealous though could he? The attention had been nice though while he was receiving it. To his luck, her boyfriend turned out to be a real jerk, which resulted in a couple of fights between him and Austin. That’s when Cornelia started showing him attention again. He really was her fairy tale prince, fighting for her happiness and making sure she was okay! Needless to say she dumped the other boy and after that her and Austin started dating. It was then that he discovered that he really did like her. Why he hadn’t given her a chance before he had no idea now. Cornelia had swept him off his feet, something he thought odd since in the beginning she had been the one who was walking on cloud nine and now whenever she was around there was the feeling of being complete with her. He couldn’t wait until she graduated so that they could start a family together.

They were married the day after Cornelia graduated from Hogwarts, two years later on November 18, Sally Ann Perks was born to the young couple. Her father hoped for a boy but settled with the fact he had a girl and her mother was thrilled. Though as she grew older it was really difficult to tell who she would take more after. Sally became very athletic like her father but like her mother she liked domestic things as well. She went back and forth from barbie dolls to football. From cooking with her mother to playing rugby with the neighborhood boys.

On her eleventh birthday that she received one of the best presents of her life. It was an owl from Hogwarts saying that she’d been invited to come to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Sally was absolutely thrilled! She’d finally get to go to a place where she didn’t have to hide the magical abilities that had been made obvious when she was younger. Of course her parents were excited for her as well, seeing as how that’s where they met and just like them they hoped she found someone she fell in love with there too. Just maybe not as early on as Cornelia did.

She'd always been more of a quiet child but bloomed when she came to Hogwarts. There were people there to bring her out of her shell and for that she'd always be grateful to them. She discovered that she was quite an outgoing person when in a comfortable environment and who wouldn't be comfortable at a school as amazing as hogwarts? She also immediately fell in love with Charms. A class she excels in, practices whenever she gets the chance, and she's quite good with charms - especially beauty charms which she uses to her advantage.

PERSONALITY Sally Ann is the weirdest combination of a tom boy who actually enjoys domestic things and pretty dresses. Unfortunately her tom boy side has outweighed her girly side in that she can’t walk in high heels, she’s not afraid to shove food in her mouth and make a fool of herself, and she’s straight forward with boys. On the more girly side she can clean up nicely when it comes to doing her make up or hair, she likes to cook, and she has been told she can be quite the charmer, even if it’s something she doesn’t believe. She’ll tackle a boy in a skirt any day, clean up her room and offer to do her guys room without fear of what bugs lie beneath, and probably manage to get food on any of her clothes. This is what happens when a father desires a son so badly and decides to pass on some boyish traits to his only child.

She’s a spunky, outspoken Hufflepuff who dreams of either being a chef one day or owning her own flower shop and having lots of boys. Girls she has decided would be too much work. Although sometimes she doesn’t want to really have any dreams or aspirations for fear of failing or losing the important things in her life. She already knows she’s half of a disappointment to both parents. She wasn’t the boy her father wanted or the girl her mother wanted her to be. Sally hates school work and makes average marks except for in Charms but that's about it. She has an average amount of friends and the only thing that makes her stick out among them is her red hair, which isn’t really even a big deal because of the Weasley’s. Which she’s usually called that or Ginger, both of which she’ll kick someone’s arse for.

Sally varies between being optimistic and pessimistic. Most of the time her darker side is only seen very late at night when she's tired and thinking about things. There are other times when she could probably be voted most likely to be a big ball of sunshine during a nuclear holocaust. Which usually occurs when she's hyped up on a lot of sugar, but for the most part she's pretty balanced. Sally is not so ridiculously blind to the things around her that she knows not everyone can have a happy ending. She had her taste of love and got ridiculously burned. Which has sort of made her views on relationships rather distorted even her parents has lasted longer than mosts.

APPEARANCE Sally stands at an average height of 5’6” and weighs about 130 lbs. Most of her weight comes from the muscle she got from playing Quidditch and the fact that she is a complete tomboy. During the summers she would play football with the neighborhood gang or if she was lucky get in a game of rugby. She was always a little taller for her age, thank Merlin she stopped growing when she hit fifteen. She was also rather flat and lanky until the summer before her seventh year and then suddenly curves have appeared as if by magic. Sally knows full well it was mother nature though because if magic would’ve worked she’d have done that awhile ago.

Sally has red hair inherited from both parents. Sometimes mistaken for another Weasley to which she wishes she didn’t have her mane of red but otherwise she appreciates the colour. Another perk to being a Perks is the freckles, she has plenty of them sprinkled across her nose. Most of which she tries to hide with beauty charms or muggle make up which she uses quite frequently. During her first two years at Hogwarts she also had to go through muggle braces, to which know she owes her thanks for giving her straight teeth that accompany and impish smile.
PLAYED-BY Emma Stone.
WRITING SAMPLE Sally couldn't take it anymore, she had to tell someone and she felt Randy should be the first to know, especially because he had helped encourage Grant to date her. Of course she had kept it to herself for almost two weeks now. It was just too hard keeping it all bottled up inside. She was staying in her room more, ignoring her parents, eating more and not going out to enjoy the weather. She didn't blame him for being so busy though, everyone seemed to be a lot busier. She needed to busy herself but she didn't know how. Cooking and eating seemed to be her only escape, but she didn't want to end up looking like a fat cow.

She was already crying when he knocked on the door. Wiping at her tears and trying to compose herself. She couldn't help it though. Now, Sally wasn't the most emotional person in the world, but she felt like it right at this moment. She never let things like this bother her. She was usually so calm and aloof, trying to play it off like nothing and no one could touch her. Underneath it all she happened to be human like the rest of them. Something she really regretted sometimes. Sally just liked to let people in so far but this time she took a chance with encouragement from everyone. A relationship seemed to be just what she needed. It wasn't. What she needed right now was her best friend. She got up from her bed and went over to the door opening it up to Randy.

Sally just stood there and watched him for a second, trying to suck it up, trying to keep everything back in, but the flood gates just opened and she began crying again. She didn't even speak, she just wrapped her arms around Randy and sobbed. Sobbing was not something she did often, but she was really hurt and upset. She didn't even know what to say to Randy other than that they had broken up. Sally was so upset over that and just the whole reasoning behind it she thought she would go crazy over it. How could someone she thought she might've been falling for go and get another girl pregnant?
